Lamacchia CARES Foundation, Inc Donates over 4,000 Winter Essential Items Through Winter Warmth Drive

The Lamacchia Cares Foundation and all of the New England Lamacchia Realty branch offices came together this holiday season to collect winter essential items by hosting a Winter Warmth Drive. Each office Ambassador chose an organization within their communities to donate the items to. The drive was held from November 25th through December 18th, and during that time, the offices collectively gathered over 4,000 items such as winter hats, gloves, socks, slippers, and coats. Lamacchia CARES made monetary donations directly to the foundations of the three offices with the highest number of donations. 

The three top offices who collected the most donations were: 

  1. Watham – 517 items – $3,000 donation from Lamacchia CARES 
  1. Dalton – 492 items – $2,000 donation from Lamacchia CARES 
  1. Beverly – 490 items – $1,000 donation from Lamacchia CARES

The Lamacchia CARES Foundation is dedicated to enriching the local community through various charitable initiatives. By focusing on local fundraising efforts, the Foundation aims to create lasting positive change and support those in need. The Lamacchia Cares initiative was granted 501(c)(3) recognition and was approved as a charitable foundation by the IRS and Commonwealth of Massachusetts in Summer of 2023. From 2017 until then, Lamacchia Cares was the Company’s charitable giving initiative that supported and raised funds for local causes.

Donation dollars go to local community grassroots efforts and to our top beneficiaries such as Boston Children’s Hospital, Habitat for Humanity, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and the Red Cross.
