Lamacchia Realty is proud to once again compete in the Boston Children’s Hospital Corporate Cup! Boston Children’s Hospital started this fundraising initiative in 2016, having major companies in New England enter with teams of twenty people to compete in various athletic activities throughout the day with the intent of raising money for the Children’s Hospital Trust. This year, the event will take place on July 9th at Harvard University. The money raised will be used to enrich programs for the children and support families of patients at Children’s Hospital, while also funding research and facilities to help find cures and better treatments.
Boston Children’s Hospital has a special place in the hearts of many people at Lamacchia Realty, including Anthony Lamacchia. In January 2000, Anthony Lamacchia’s baby sister, Heather, was born with a heart defect and was under the unwavering medical attention of Boston Children’s Hospital. Although she had the best of care, she passed away at six weeks of age. Anthony and his father have been supporting the Children’s Hospital ever since. It is truly one of those places that you don’t realize how lucky you are to have it until you need it most. It is an honor for us to get to raise money for this incredible hospital, and we continue to raise our own fundraising goals year after year.
Since 2017, Team Lamacchia has raised over $356,000 for Children’s Hospital and is consistently among the top fundraising teams. Along with dollars raised, the company has donated thousands of toys to the hospital’s Holiday Toy Drives since 2012.
This is Lamacchia Realty’s eighth year participating in the Corporate Cup. Additionally, the team has been named the Top Fundraising Team in both 2025 and 2022! Last year, the team raised over $36,000, and now in 2026, Team Lamacchia has a combined goal to raise a minimum of $38,000 for this year’s competition, and they’ll have until 4:00 pm on the day of the event to hit their fundraising goals! Like the rest of the companies entering the Corporate Cup, Lamacchia Realty has a team of twenty people determined to raise money for Boston Children’s Hospital.
In addition, the team will also connect with and receive updates from a patient partner who has received treatment from the hospital – we will be connected with a little boy named Cooper and his family!
