The Lamacchia CARES Foundation is thrilled to announce its second annual golf tournament, dedicated to supporting local fundraising initiatives. The tournament will take place on September 18, 2025, at the beautiful Sandy Burr Country Club in Wayland, MA, bringing together golf enthusiasts, community leaders, and philanthropists for a day of fun, competition, and charity. Following the tremendous success of last year’s inaugural tournament, which raised over $30,000 for the foundation, we are eager to build on that momentum and make an even greater impact in 2025.

Lamacchia CARES was granted 501(c)(3) recognition and was approved as a charitable foundation by the IRS and Commonwealth of Massachusetts in Summer of 2023. 100% of the proceeds from the tournament will go directly to the foundation which will then support local fundraising initiatives, reflecting the Foundation’s commitment to making a tangible difference in the community. As a recognized 501(c)(3), donations to the Foundation are generally tax-deductible. Participants can look forward to a day filled with golf, networking opportunities, and a shared mission to support and uplift local causes.

Breakfast includes coffee and hot breakfast sandwiches, lunch on the lawn includes burgers and hot dogs. The day will culminate with a cocktail hour, providing a perfect opportunity for participants to unwind, celebrate, and network after a day of golfing. There will be passed hors d’oeuvres; attendees can bid on raffle prizes, and the 50/50 raffle.
